Kevin B. McCarthy, a lawyer since 1973 and a theologian from 2013, is a Catholic husband, father, and grandfather who, together with his wife, raised five children and now has the joy of seventeen grandchildren. Mr. McCarthy lived and studied at Rome for seven years and in June 2013 received the Licentiate in Sacred Theology, magna cum laude, from the Pontifical University of Saint Thomas Aquinas. At the request of a number of U.S. Catholic Bishops in late 2005, Mr. McCarthy has been working since to advance the devotion to Our Lady of America originally approved in the Archdiocese of Cincinnati.
