Msgr. Mark J. Merdian is the vicar for health care for the Diocese of Peoria, a board member of the Illinois Catholic Health Association, and president of Peoria Notre Dame High School in Peoria, Illinois. He received his degree in moral theology with a concentration in medical ethics from Mount St. Mary's Seminary in Emmitsburg, Maryland.
