About Fr. Nicolas C. Steeves, SJ
Fr. Nicolas C. Steeves, SJ, is a priest of the French Province of the Society of Jesus and has been teaching systematic theology at Rome's Pontifical Gregorian University since 2014. His theological expertise concerns the role of the imagination in systematic theology, in preaching, and in St. Ignatius of Loyola's Spiritual Exercises, among other aspects of the Christian life. He has published numerous academic papers on St. John Henry Newman, popular devotions, faith and credibility, the renewal of apologetics, and French nouvelle théologie. He also often preaches or individually directs the Spiritual Exercises and helps out with the Poor Clares in Foligno, Italy.
