About Dr. Michel Therrien, STD
Dr. Michel Therrien, received his STD from University of Fribourg, Switzerland, and his STL from the International Theological Institute in Austria. He is presently a professor of fundamental moral theology at the Augustine Institute in Greenwood, Colorado. He taught at St. Vincent Seminary in Latrobe, Pennsylvania, for seven years, serving as academic dean from 2008-2012. His prior work experience also includes two years with the Acton Institute in Grand Rapids, Michigan, teaching high school religion, serving as a DRE, a youth minister, and RCIA leader for various parishes. His areas of scholarly interest are Thomistic virtue ethics and Catholic social teaching.
