HPR: Sharing an apostolate of faith to those searching the internet

Each year Homiletic and Pastoral Review continues to bring you articles from our excellent authors, covering subjects of the moment and those that are timeless. We also provide thousands of deacons, priests, and bishops with homilies for Sundays and Feasts (and receive many letters from the “people in the pews” who read our homilies each week as well), and we give you the always illuminative Questions Answered column every month by Fr. Brian Mullady, OP. Too, now that we are online, our readers can respond with comments and reactions, oftentimes as thought-provoking as the articles themselves.

HPR is very much alive! But in order to keep this online discussion going, we urgently need your continued financial support. The reality is that online magazines come with a price: paying for the site, those who edit, those who publish and manage the magazine online, as well as the technical know-how to keep a website functioning correctly.

We thank you for your interest in HPR; your continued loyalty is greatly appreciated. We also thank you for your financial help in the past. We ask you, once again, for that needed assistance in bringing the important message of our faith to even more readers.

In the busy online world, so many spend hours dwelling on the material world, rarely being awakened to a spiritual reality in their foraging through the internet universe. HPR provides a much-needed, soul-awakening experience of what really matters in this life. Our site is visited by over 10,000 readers every week from people all over the globe.

Please help us to continue to offer that gift of faith to those searching the web. We share this important apostolate with you, and hope you will remember HPR with a donation.

Thanks from all of us at Homiletic and Pastoral Review. God’s blessings on you and yours this Christmas Season and in the coming year!

–Father David Meconi, S.J., and the staff of HPR!
