Stephen Sharkey is Professor of Sociology at Alverno College, Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He has been a member of the Society of Catholic Social Scientists for 20+ years and currently serves as an associate editor for its journal, "The Catholic Social Science Review." In 2012, he published a book entitled: Sociology and Catholic Social Teaching: Contemporary Theory and Research.
