About Rev. Mark A. Pilon

Reverend Mark A. Pilon was educated for the priesthood at Holy Trinity Seminary in Dallas, Texas and was ordained for the Diocese of Arlington, Virginia, in 1975. He served as a high school chaplain and religion teacher for eight years. He then studied in Rome and earned his doctorate in sacred theology from the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross in 1991. Fr. Pilon served as a parish pastor in the Arlington diocese for ten years. He now teaches in the Systematic Theology Department at Mount St. Mary’s Seminary in Emmitsburg, Maryland and he also serves as chairman of the department.
