Still Needing Your Help to Spread the “Good News”

The good news is that we are currently reaching anywhere from 10,000 to 16,000 readers around the world in any given week. Please consider a donation towards keeping HPR online in 2014!

“Go ye, therefore, and teach all nations” by Harry Anderson

Thanks to those who have contributed so far to this request for financial help.
And thanks in advance to those considering a donation.

When the folks at Ignatius Press decided to take Homiletic and Pastoral Review “online” a few years ago now, the quickly-soaring costs of running and mailing a paper publication were, of course, among their top concerns.  Whatever the drawbacks from not producing a paper copy of HPR every month might be, we also prayed that the electronic edition could reach many more readers, especially in those places around the world where Catholic literature could not be made readily available.  That particular advantage is being realized more robustly each day, as we are currently reaching anywhere from 10,000 to 16,000 readers around the world in any given week.

Yet, there are still costs involved with the work of HPR. So we are reaching out to you during this Christmas season, asking for prayerful discernment regarding the feasibility of your helping us financially.  For while it is still free to receive information from the internet, it is not free to put such information up in a professional and timely manner.  For these expenses, we are, therefore, asking if you would please remember HPR this Christmastide in your charitable contributions.

HPR is a 501(c) 3 tax-exempt corporation.  You can use PayPal on the HPR homepage, which is a white box with the words: “Donate to HPR” located half way down the left column of our homepage, under the ads, and above “LINKS.”  Click on the yellow “Donate” button, and follow the instructions on the PayPal page.

If you would prefer to mail a check, you may do that also. Just make your check out to: HPR, and mail it to:

Please keep our efforts here at HPR in your prayers, as we remember all of you in our prayers. Have a wonderful Christmas and a New Year filled with God’s blessings.
